The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) has appointed Jim McDermott to its executive board, replacing Dave Grulke, who served as executive director for the last five years. McDermott is a member of the organization for nearly ten years and was also a past president and board member. McDermott also served as the executive director between December 2007 and November 2009. CMA recently hosted a tour of three Atlanta-area cabinet businesses as part of its International Woodworkers Fair. This event featured a presentation by CMA's new advertising campaign and a walk through the shops featuring some of its premium suppliers. The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA), created the Environmental Stewardship Programme (ESP) for kitchen cabinets in 2006.
